HISTORY AS MATERIAL: Online Artists' Talk with Pio Abad and Norberto Roldan

If history is your material, what is the best way to move forward when history is so malleable and transitional? Where does that leave us? Where do we go from here? What is the role of art in these times? Last June 21, the CCP VAMD presented History as Material, an online artists' talk with Pio Abad and Norberto Roldan. History as Material aimed to look into these artists' respective practices, and to present a productive conversation on "what now?". History as Material is presented as a public program in line with the current 21AM exhibition, The Collection of Jane Ryan and William Saunders: Jewelry in Augmented Reality by Pio Abad and Frances Wardsworth Jones.
